Addie Heyliger is an accomplished technology professional with over two decades interfacing with senior business executives, and technical teams. She provides leadership to a technology organization in the areas of Business Engagement, Project Management, and Portfolio Value and Delivery.

While Addie has excelled professionally and has won many awards in her career her passion is service.  Addie brings over 24 years of community service to the Houston Area.

Most notably she was elected in 2015 and re-elected in 2018 as Trustee to serve on the Fort Bend Independent School Board where she served in numerous roles including past president. Addie believes that stronger schools lead to a stronger community.

Addie understands that the foundation of a child’s education is their ability to read. During her term on the board she initiated the “Addie’s Read-A-Thon” to bring awareness to  schools in the district where over 70 volunteers from the community and professional organizations volunteered their time

Addie earned her undergraduate degree in Computer Science from North Carolina A&T State University and her Master’s in Business Administration from Texas Women’s University. She is a certified Project Management Professional.

She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., The Links Incorporated, and Jack and Jill of America, Inc.  She is an active member of The Fort Bend Church.

She is the proud mother of two handsome young men, Milton and her beloved late son Alex Heyliger(2003-2024), both FBISD graduates.
